Recycle your Christmas Tree
| After Christmas 2005, the huge spruce tree in Trafalgar Square donated by Norway was shredded for mulch, and used for fertiliser in Parliament Square. You can recycle your tree as well! Find your nearest recycling facilities at the Recycle for London website or contact your local council to find out more about recycling your Christmas tree. Make sure you go to a recycle point that is appropriate for wood. Or why not have ANYJUNK? collect your tree from your doorstep and let them recylce it for you. Take a look at their site for further details www.anyjunk.co.uk Alternatively, you can recycle your tree yourself by shredding and adding it to your compost. |
